Terms & Conditions
Your use of our Booking System, Consultations, Therapy Sessions, Follow-up Sessions, Workshops or Classes (collectively “Our Services”) is subject to these terms and conditions ("Our Terms").
In order to use Our Services you must be over 18 years of age. Our Terms govern your use of Our Services. By using Our Services, you agree to abide by Our Terms.
Please read Our Terms carefully and thoroughly. If you do not accept Our Terms, you must not make a booking with Manasa Ayurveda for any Consultation, Therapy Session, Follow-up Session, Workshop or Class.
You confirm that you are of legal age to access and use Our Services and of legal capacity to agree to Our Terms. You are not eligible to use Our Services if you are under the age of 18. No personal information should be submitted to Manasa Ayurveda by children. Manasa Ayurveda will not knowingly collect or use any personal information collected from children.
BOOKING PROCESS & PAYMENT
You can make a booking through Our Site. Your payment details will be requested at the time of booking and payment will be collected when you make a booking. Full payment of Consultation, Therapy Session, Follow-up Session, Workshop or Class Fees is due at the time of booking. Full details of the prices are referred to below.
All payments by credit card or debit card need to be authorised by the relevant card issuer. We may also need to use extra security steps via Verified by Visa. By making a booking you agree to provide complete, correct and true information including without limitation billing and payment information.
Once your booking is accepted, you will receive confirmation of your appointment by email and/or text.
By making a booking, you are responsible for:
- Full payment of the applicable Fee;
- With the exception of Workshops or Classes, ensuring the Therapist has access to your Designated Premises which must, in all cases, represent a suitable space in which the Therapies can be performed, with all appropriate facilities (including, adequate lighting and heating); and
- Ensuring the health and safety of the Therapist whilst at your Designated Premises
All Fees are payable through Our Site.
Please note that all fees and charges are exclusive of VAT and VAT will only be charged where applicable (currently no VAT charges are applicable).
The price of our Consultations, Therapy Sessions, Follow-up Sessions, Workshops or Classes will be determined by reference to the Prices in force at the date when those Consultations, Therapy Sessions, Follow-up Sessions, Workshops or Classes are booked. Full details are set out in on Our Site.
In addition to the responsibilities noted above, it is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information requested at the time of booking and by the Therapist. Failure to provide complete and accurate information requested may result in a rejection of booking requests, cancellation of your booking or an inability of the booked Therapist to provide Consultation, Therapy Sessions or Follow-up Sessions as requested. Such failure may also result in loss or incorrect delivery of your booking confirmation.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Cancellations made 48 hours in advance of a Consultation, Therapy Session or Follow-up Session appointment have no cancellation charge. This does not include weekends, bank holidays and public holidays. Otherwise any cancellation or non-attendance at the appointment Time and/or at the Designated Premises is subject to the full cost of the Consultation, Therapy Session or Follow-up Session. If you are unable to give 48 hours notice no refund will be given.
We require full payment on booking Workshops or Classes. Any Workshop/Class cancellation or non-attendance is subject to the full cost of the Workshop/Class.
Where you have been unable to cancel a booking for genuine reasons which were outside of your control this aspect of our Policy may be waived by us at our absolute discretion. You may be required to provide evidence in support of your appeal in these circumstances.
Manasa Ayurveda Therapists Reserve the right to terminate and refund Consultation, Therapy Session or Follow-up Session appointments at their absolute digression at any time.
If you are delayed and unable to start the Consultation, Therapy Session or Follow-up Session at the Designated Premises at the Appointment Time by more than 10 minutes then, unless the Therapist agrees to the contrary (which is within the sole discretion of the Therapist): the Therapist is entitled to end the Consultation, Therapy Session or Follow-up Session at the time agreed when the booking was made without making any adjustment to the Fee to reflect the reduced time of the Consultation, Therapy Session or Follow-up Session
We may from time to time create and offer promotional codes ("Codes") that can be redeemed on Our Site against purchases of Consultations, Therapy Sessions, Follow-up Sessions, Workshops or Classes. Codes will only be valid for the period of time stated on or with them.
Codes do not have any cash value. Codes may:
- only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. Codes may not be duplicated, sold, transferred, distributed or made available to others online (including through public sites such as coupon sites) or by other means;
- not be promoted in any way including via a Search Engine;
- not be exchanged for cash;
- only be used once and only one Code may be used per person;
- may be subject to alternative specific terms which will be made available by us, and must only be used in accordance with those terms.
Our Services are for your personal and non-commercial use and must only be used for the purposes described above. You must not use Our Services to do any of the following which are strictly prohibited:
- Use of Our Services for non-therapeutic ends (e.g. market research, service development, journalism)
- Harvest, data-mine or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent;
- Engage in or encourage others to engage in criminal or unlawful conduct or breach these Terms including misuse of Our Services for unlawful or unauthorised purposes.
- You agree not to breach these Terms in any way, doing so may result in, among other things, termination or suspension of your access to Our Services.
Manasa Ayurveda, the Manasa Ayurveda logo, brand and all other intellectual property rights, trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the Site or the Services (whether registered or unregistered) belong to us or our licensors (as are applicable) and are protected by intellectual property law. All rights are reserved.
Content on Our Site and Our Services is provided for your general information purposes only. Nothing contained on Our Site, or communicated any other way as part of Our Services constitutes, or is meant to constitute, advice, opinion or guidance of any kind.
Following Consultation, a personally tailored self-care and therapy programme will be created for you. Your programme may incorporate specific information on diet, life-style or exercise. We recommend that you inform your GP and follow their advice before incorporating life-style changes based on such information (e.g. on diet, exercise, sleep, or life-style) into your life. Manasa Ayurveda therapists/practitioners cannot be held responsible for any adverse effects of changes incorporated into your life where this recommendation has not been followed.
On rare occasions distressing or unusual experiences (such as forgotten memories from the past) may arise during meditation. If this does happen we request that you refrain from continuing with meditation until this has been discussed with your Manasa Ayurveda therapist. Your personalized therapy programme may be adjusted according to changing needs and assessment.
We are not a health care provider nor do we provide medical advice or medical treatment. References on Our Site and elsewhere to "Treatment" and "Therapy" or any similar terms do not refer to medical treatment or medical therapy.
The information presented on Our Site and otherwise as part of Our Services is not intended to diagnose health problems or to take the place of professional medical care. Should you have a medical issue you should always consult with a qualified medical professional.
We make no warranty or guarantee that Our Services are suitable for your intended use, error-free, timely, reliable, entirely secure, computer-virus-free or available. We make no guarantee of particular results or outcomes by use of Our Services.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure that Our Services are available, we do not warrant or guarantee in any way the continued availability at all times or the uninterrupted use by you of Our Services. We reserve the right to suspend or cease the operation of all or part of Our Services from time to time at our sole discretion.
MODIFICATION & TERMINATION
We may modify Our Terms or terminate use of Our Services at any time by giving notice of termination to you. Prices may also change from time to time. We may also change, suspend, terminate or discontinue any aspect of Our Services including availability of certain features at any time for any reason.
FOR CUSTOMERS AND VISITORS TO OUR SITE AND/OR USERS OF OUR SERVICE
We may collect and process the following data about you:
Information you give us. You may give us information about you by contacting us, booking your appointments, by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise, and during Consultation, Therapy Sessions and Follow-up Sessions. This may include your name, date of birth, gender, address of where the Consultation, Therapy Session or Follow-up Session will be provided, e-mail address, phone number and payment card information. It will also include any further information that you provide including information about your health.
Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to Our Site we may automatically collect the following information:
Technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; your login information; browser type, version, country and language; time zone setting; browser plug-in types and versions; operating system and platform;
Information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from Our Site (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and phone numbers.
Information we receive from other sources. Prior to, and during your Consultation, Therapy Session and Follow-up Session(s) you may be asked to complete a self-report questionnaire (e.g. CORE-OM) and/or other consent/consultation forms in which you will be asked for details of any medical conditions. We will store these according to any contractual, regulatory or statutory requirements we may have.
Therapists' Notes – Manasa Ayurveda Therapists may make notes during Consultations, Therapy Sessions and Follow-up Sessions. These notes will record information that you give the Therapist and the Therapist's observations, e.g. whether there are any pets at the premises and whether you experienced any discomfort during any Ayurvedic Therapy. This information may include details of your physical or mental health. We will store these notes in a locked cabinet and may make them available to other Manasa Ayurveda Therapists that you choose to book through Our Site.
USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION
We use information held about you in the following ways:
- To store and share the Manasa Ayurveda Therapists' Notes. These may be shared with other Manasa Ayurveda Therapists that you choose to book through Our Site.
- To store completed Manasa Ayurveda Consent Forms, Feedback Forms, CORE-OM (self-report questionnaire) or other forms or completed clinical outcome measures.
- To improve our services;
- To measure or understand the effectiveness of our advertising to you and others, and to deliver relevant advertising to you;
- To contact you and make suggestions and recommendations to you about Manasa Ayurveda Therapy Sessions, workshops, classes or other activities that may interest you by email, phone, SMS, mail, push notifications or via our website.
- To remind you of your appointments,
- For administration and internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, data security, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;
- For sharing information on appointment details among designated Manasa Ayurveda personnel in accordance with our Therapist Lone Worker Policy and procedures (please contact us if you require a copy of this Policy).
- For anonymised feedback and clinical outcomes (with no name or personal identifiers attached) to be written into reports for public presentation or publication.
- To inform your General Practitioner (GP) and/or Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) that you are making use of this service, of what this service entails and of any concerns we may have regarding your welfare.
DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We will share your information between Manasa Ayurveda Therapists working with you to enable them to provide Therapy effectively and to effectively manage customer relations.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties:
- If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Manasa Ayurveda, our Therapists or others.
- To law enforcement agencies and regulators in connection with their investigations
- This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Manasa Ayurveda may process information relating to you (including personal data as defined under the Data Protection Act 1998), including holding such information in a manual format or electronic database, in order to satisfy any contractual, regulatory or statutory requirements we may have. Information in manual format will be stored in a locked cabinet. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this storing and/or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy.
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data. However you should be aware that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
Access to Information – You have a right to access information held about you. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with the information that we hold about you. In order to exercise this right please contact us at email@example.com

VERBAL (INFORMAL) COMPLAINTS
The first concern of Manasa Ayurveda is to ensure that the client’s immediate wellbeing needs are being met through our service. The complaint should then be dealt with rapidly in an informal and sensitive manner. Complaints are most likely to be initiated with the Therapist who should respond rapidly and sensitively.
Informal complaints may be raised verbally with the Therapist and if appropriate should be resolved quickly and informally.
If a complainant has made a verbal complaint and is dissatisfied with the response the complaint should be put in writing identifying the issues of concern and signed by the complainant. This should be passed on to admin at Manasa Ayurveda and investigated as a formal written complaint.
It is important that people who wish to make comments or informal complaints about Manasa Ayurveda are encouraged to do so.
A complaint may be made orally, in writing or electronically.
Where a complaint is made orally, the recipient of the complaint must make a written record of the complaint and provide a copy of the written record to the complainant.
All written complaints must be forwarded to Manasa Ayurveda admin for recording and processing. Manasa Ayurveda admin will acknowledge the complaint within three working days.
If the complaint has been raised by someone other than the client, authorisation will be sought in order to release information relating to the care and treatment of the patient.
An investigation will be carried out with reference to any relevant Manasa Ayurveda Policies and a report on this investigation issued to complainant(s) with investigation outcomes.
Whilst the first concern of Manasa Ayurveda is to ensure that the client’s immediate wellbeing needs are being met through our service, during any investigation, Therapy or Follow-up Sessions may be temporarily suspended where necessary.
